Hi! My name is Sarah Petrie and I am so excited to be teaching fourth grade at Roosevelt this year! I have been a substitute teacher for 9 years, and have done several long-term assignments in Livonia, including one  in first grade (virtual at Cleveland), three in second grade (Hayes, Hoover, and Randolph), and a full year in fourth grade (Hoover). It took me a little while to figure out what I wanted to be when I grew up, but I couldn't be happier or more grateful to be teaching in Livonia full time.

My husband, Bob, and I have two daughters - Marian graduated from Livonia Franklin in 2022 and is a sophomore at BGSU, and Ainsley is an incoming Senior at Franklin. Our family has a cat named Simone, and a black labrador retriever named Henry. When I'm not teaching, I enjoy reading, cooking, traveling, hiking, photography, and spending time with my family and friends. I am thrilled to be a member of the Roosevelt family and I look forward to an incredible year.
