My name is Mrs. Childress and I will be teaching 2nd grade at Roosevelt this year!  I am looking forward to my sixth year teaching second grade and my eleventh year of teaching. I have taught kindergarten and fourth grades as well. I have my Masters in Education with a focus in Reading and Language Arts from Oakland University and my undergraduate degree is from Eastern Michigan University in Elementary and Early Childhood Education. My husband Travis, our daughter Emmy, and dog Dempsey all live locally in Farmington Hills. It is a pleasure to join the Tigers family and I can’t wait to get to know the students and families at Roosevelt!
