Mrs. Rachel Banks Dzikowski

My name is Rachel Banks Dzikowski, but I just go by Mrs. Banks.  I am one of the Elementary Student Assistance Providers (ESAP) at Cooper this year.  While I wear many hats throughout the day, my job is to support kids.  From Healthcare Plans to Success Plans to 504s to being a trusted adult for our students to come talk through things with, my goal is to ensure your child has a successful two years at Cooper.

I previously taught at Cleveland Elementary for 11 years before making the move to Cooper Upper Elementary in the fall of 2023.  My roots in our community run deep, having attended Cleveland for K-6, graduating from Franklin High School in 2007, completing my student teaching at Cooper in 2012, and beginning my career in education later that same year with LPS.

I am also a mom to two amazing kids, Penelope and Milo.  My daughter is my mini and she is enjoying every second of kindergarten this year.   My son is a rough and tough one-year-old ready to take on the world.  When I am not at Cooper, you can find me out and about with my kids and my husband, Mike.  If you see me, say hello!

I look forward to an amazing year!  Please do not hesitate to reach out.  I am happy to help!
