Success Strategies Mentors

  • At Churchill, we understand that students may require additional academic assistance. There may be circumstances outside a student's control that prevent them from being successful in the classroom. Churchill's Success Strategies club is committed to giving students guidance and the organizational skills they need to excel in their classes.

Each student will be paired up with a mentor who can help them overcome challenges in order for them to be academically successful. With many mentors having knowledge in a variety of subjects, students are sure to find the help they need.

Success Strategies also offers drop-in tutoring for all students after school, Tuesday through Thursday from 2:30 to 3:30 in room A130. Students do not need to sign up for a mentor to attend drop-in tutoring.

If you are interested in being matched up with a mentor, please click the button below to sign up! If you have additional questions about the Success Strategies program, please contact Mrs. Starr (room B233) or Mrs. Curtis (room A130).

LPS Master Tutor List

  • The professionals on the LPS Master Tutor List include both certified teachers who are employed by Livonia Public Schools and certified teachers not employed by the district.  Those who are not employees were required to go through an application process with Livonia Public Schools.  Most of these tutors provide tutoring in their homes and charge approximately $20 to $35 an hour.
