K-12 Connect Virtual Tutoring (Grand Valley State)

GVSU K-12 Connect Virtual Tutoring is available for any student in grades K-12. This program is a free, virtual 1:1 tutoring/homework support service in which students can harness additional learning support through connecting with university students, faculty, or staff with expertise in various subjects through Zoom. Whether you are looking for a one-time appointment or recurring, weekly sessions, the tutoring center can accommodate any student's tutoring needs.
Students must bring homework or content to work on to every tutoring session.

NEHS Writing Center

The National English Honor Society at Churchill High School is providing Churchill students with an English assistance program to further their English skills and allow them to succeed in all aspects of English Language Arts. We provide assistance with grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, writing (both structure and content), and peer essay review.
To sign up for a drop-in, please sign up HERE at least 48 hours prior to your request to come in. Prior to your meeting, you will receive an email with a meeting link. Your meeting will start at 2:30 on your selected date. Please bring a rubric or instruction sheet. If you were not provided one, please ask the teacher for one.

Schoolcraft Scholars Honors Program is pleased to provide Scholars K-12 Tutoring! Schoolcraft Scholars K-12 Tutoring is a free volunteer service provided by the Schoolcraft Scholars Honors Program students. Please email the Scholar directly to schedule tutoring session(s) by Zoom. All Scholars have an updated Criminal Background Check in the Honors office.

Westland Academic Enrichment Tutoring Program

Need help with your homework? Westland Youth Assistance provides tutoring to students every Monday from 3:00 to 5:00 pm at the Jefferson Barns Community Vitality Center located at 31250 Dorsey Road in Westland. Bring your assignments for free homework and study help. Parents/guardians should register their child by calling the Westland Youth Assistance office at (734) 467-7904 in advance. Jefferson Barns Learning Lab

Jefferson Barns Learning Lab offers free tutoring Mondays though Thursdays from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Jefferson Barns Community Vitality Center located at 31250 Dorsey Road in Westland. The program is open to students in grades 3 through 12. Although preference will be given to Wayne-Westland students, students with Livonia addresses are welcome if space is available.
