2026-2027 Fall School Age Child Care (SACC) Registration Information

Dear LPS Community,

We are pleased to continue offering high-quality School-Age Child Care (SACC) services for our families, recognizing their essential role, especially for working parents and guardians.

Important Dates and Registration Information for the 2026-2027 School Year:

• First Day of SACC: Tuesday, August 25, 2026.
• The First Day of School is Monday, August 24, 2026. (Note: SACC services will not be available on this day.)

SACC Registration Dates 2026/2027

• March 18, 2026: Registration opens for returning SACC families currently enrolled, seeking full-time childcare (both morning and afternoon sessions, Monday through Friday) or childcare for five consecutive days per week (either all mornings or all afternoons). Registration will be conducted through EZChildTrack from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Space is limited. Space will not be held for misregistration. Registrations are on a first-come, first-served basis. Current SACC accounts need to be at a zero balance to register for the fall.  Please note that your first tuition payment is due on or before August 10th. If payment isn't received, a $30.00 late payment fee will be added to your account. 
• March 19, 2026:  LPS staff families seeking full-time childcare can register between 7:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
• March 20, 2026: Registration opens for new families seeking full-time childcare or childcare for five consecutive days per week. Current waitlisted families will also register on this date, as space allows. Registration will run from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

SACC Bussing Information for 2026-2027: 

To offer SACC to all K-6 students, some locations will be combined, utilizing Livonia Public Schools transportation between satellite SACC sites and home schools. This may alter drop-off and pick-up procedures for some families. For example, Hayes students will register as Hayes SACC students but will be bussed to Cooper for SACC care. Bus routes and times will be communicated to all families before the first day of SACC on Tuesday, August 25, 2026. Low enrollment can lead to closed locations.

The following schools do not require busing and have SACC held on site:

• Buchanan
• Cleveland
• Coolidge
• Grant
• Hoover
• Kennedy

Registration Process:

• Returning Families: Register through the EZChildTrack Parent Portal on March 18, 2026, between 7:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Use your existing account; no need to set up a new one. Auto pay is required for the first two months of SACC services, August and September. Please note your first tuition payment will be due on or before August 10th. If payment isn't received, a $30.00 late payment fee will be added to your account. 
• New Families: Begin registration on March 20, 2026, via the "New Parents Open Account" section on the EZChildTrack Parent Portal. Accounts can be set up once registration opens on March 20th. You'll need your child's physician and emergency contact information.
• LPS Staff Members: Please use your staff email address when setting up your account.

Additional Information: PLEASE READ

• Spaces are limited; childcare spots are not guaranteed.
• Registrations are on a first-come, first-served basis.
• Schedule changes  are a $25.00 fee.
• A two-week withdrawal notice and a $25.00 processing fee are required for all withdrawals. YOU WILL BE CHARGED TWO WEEKS OF TUITION ONCE A CHILD IS REGISTERED. NO MATTER THE DATE OF WITHDRAWL.

Summer Activity Club Registration Announcement:

We are pleased to announce the registration details for the upcoming Summer Activity Club, a full-time program designed for students who have completed kindergarten through 6th grade. Please note that due to limited space, we cannot accept new Young Five students; however, current SACC enrolled Young Five students are eligible to participate.

Summer SAC Club Room for 5th–7th Graders! We are excited to introduce a new Club Room this summer for students entering 5th, 6th, or 7th grade (fall grade).

Our club program will feature additional bus and walking field trips, along with activities designed specifically for this age group. We know families still need care for their older children, and it can be hard to find options that feel age-appropriate and engaging. This summer, we're piloting this program in a large, relaxed setting with flexible seating and a new electronic game zone area to create a fun, social, and more independent atmosphere and see how it works for our students and families. We’re looking forward to this new part of our program for our older SAC participants!

Registration Details:

• Date and Time: Thursday, March 5, 2026, from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
• Location: Riley Upper Elementary School, 15555 Henry Ruff Street, Livonia, MI 48154
• Registration Fee: $70.00 for the first child; $60.00 for each additional child.
• Deposit: $100 per child, applied to the final payment. Auto Pay is mandatory

Program Details:

• Dates: Monday, June 8, 2026 – Thursday, August 6, 2026 Note:
  • The program will be closed from July 6th to July 10th
• Hours: 7:30a.m.–5:00 p.m.
• Daily Rate: $65.00 per child; a 10% discount applies to the second child
• Classroom Size: Each classroom accommodates up to 25 children and is staffed by a team of two.
• Vacation Credits: Each child is allotted five vacation days.

Payment Information: Enrollment in Auto Pay is mandatory for the Summer Activity Club to ensure automatic deductions from your chosen account.

Registration Process: Registration opens on Thursday, March 5, 2026, at 7:30 a.m. and closes at 4:00 p.m. Spaces are limited and will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis. To register, please visit the EZChildTrack Parent Portal.

• New Families: Select the purple "Open Account" (new parent) option to create an account.
• Returning Families: Log in using your existing EZChildTrack account.

UPDATE YOUR CHILD'S T-SHIRT SIZE.

During registration, please have your child's physician and emergency contact information readily available. On the Terms and Conditions page, agree to each required form, complete, download, and print the fillable forms to bring on the first day of the program.

WITHDRAWAL POLICY: ALL WITHDRAWALS, REGARDLESS OF TIMING, REQUIRE TWO WEEKS' NOTICE. A CHARGE EQUIVALENT TO TWO WEEKS' TUITION WILL APPLY UPON WITHDRAWAL.
