We are excited to welcome you to our district! We hope this page will provide you with all the necessary information to register your child.

Families NEW to Livonia Public Schools can begin the registration process online.

If you live outside of the Livonia Public School boundaries you must have received a school of choice offer before completing your enrollment.  

In district registrations for the 2023-2024 and the 2024-2025 school year please complete the following steps:

  1. Collect the required documents for enrollment.
  2. Complete the online pre-enrollment form linked below.
  3. Once you have submitted your pre-enrollment application your school building will reach out to you by phone or email.

FAQ

Early Entry

For the 2024-2025 school year, the entry date cut-off for a child entering kindergarten is September 1, 2024. A child who resides in the Livonia Public Schools attendance area may be enrolled in kindergarten if he/she is at least 5 years of age by September 1, 2024.

Parents of a child with a birth date after September 1, but before December 1, 2024 may request early entry for enrollment.
