National Art Honor Society

NAHS is an after-school club open to all students who are interested in art.  It is a national organization committed to the promotion of the fine arts, creativity and community service.  We meet once a week after school and participate in a variety of experiences including:

  • Student led art projects

  • Community service projects such as helping other LPS buildings set up their school art shows, and helping with activities such as face painting and craft fairs

  • Working on school murals

  • An annual trip to the Detroit Institute of Arts,

  • Various holiday celebrations
