During these unprecedented times, we understand that some of our students may be experiencing anxiety, depression, and other mental health issues over the extended school closure. We want to support you. If your student is struggling with mental health issues, and would like a contact from a mental health provider from LPS, please use our Social Emotional Support Hotline. If your student is experiencing significant difficulties and has expressed suicidal ideation, please call 911.

Wayne RESA Community Assistance Hotline
Wayne RESA has instituted a Community Assistance Hotline to support the educational needs of students/families newly exposed to homelessness or the transiency of foster care due to the COVID-19 health crisis. The HOTLINE, accessed by calling 734.334.1567, will be answered 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by a client specialist. Students/families will be referred to district level homeless and/or foster care liaisons, county-level agencies, or state departments depending on identified educational needs.
