PTA Reflections Showcased Students' Artistic Talents

The 51st Livonia PTA Reflections Awards Ceremony was held recently in the Performing Arts Center at Stevenson High School and recognized 130 students from around LPS!

Reflections is a National PTA program designed to promote an interest in the arts outside the classroom setting. Students around the country in Pre-K through 12th grade create works of art that are inspired by a theme of the year. This year's theme was "Look Within."

Our students explored their thoughts, feelings, and ideas to create works of art in the following categories: dance choreography, film production, literature, music composition, photography and visual arts.

All participants were recognized in the program and the Award of Excellence, along with the Award of Merit winners will move on to the statewide Reflections competition.

Congratulations to all of the LPS participants and kudos to the organizers and chairpersons at each school!

Enjoy some photos from this very special evening in Livonia Public Schools!
