Livonia Public Schools will again celebrate the start of a new school year by hosting its popular Bounce Back to School party, from 5-8 p.m. on Tuesday, August 20 at Riley Upper Elementary School.
For a $5 per child entry fee, kids will bounce their hearts out in a collection of bouncers that will be arranged in the field on the grounds at Riley. The entry fee also includes face painting, balloon animals, a petting zoo, pony rides and awesome tunes to keep the party hopping.
Pizza, cotton candy, sno-cones, pop, water and chips will also be available for a nominal cost. Proceeds from the event will benefit the LPS Education Foundation's Competitive Edge College Savings Program for Livonia Public Schools students.
The event includes a FREE shuttle for families who would like to avoid the traffic! Shuttles will run continuously between Roosevelt Elementary School (located at 30200 Lyndon, at the corner of Henry Ruff) and Riley Upper Elementary, located at 15555 Henry Ruff, at Five Mile.
"We are so excited to once again offer this super fun event for our families, as we gear up for another great school year in LPS!," said Katie Patterson, event coordinator and communications specialist for the district.
The event is made possible through sponsorship by: Alpha USA, The Big Smile, Bill Brown Ford, Cheryl Bowker from Allstate Insurance Agency, MacFarland and Company Home Sales, Parkside Credit Union, Rock Out Entertainment, and St. Mary Mercy Livonia.
