Summer Learning in L-Town Programs Announced!

We are very excited to continue to provide our students with engaging learning opportunities for the summer of 2023. These offerings have been very well received the past few years and it is our hope your family will carefully review all of the options below to keep learning alive throughout the summer weeks.  

The Learning in L-Town summer programs are open to all LPS students. If your child has an IEP, please indicate on the form below, so we can ensure appropriate staffing and supports during the camps. 


We are offering the following summer programs: 

Incoming Second Grade through Ninth Grade camps (Current First through Eighth Graders)

Monday through Thursday 9:00a - 12:00p

June 19 - 29 at Holmes Middle School

July 10 - 20 at Cooper Upper Elementary School

July 24 - August 3 at Randolph Elementary School

*Transportation will be provided for families who live within the triad that each 2nd - 9th grade camps are held. (Note: students may attend camps in any triad, but would only receive transportation for the triad camp in which they reside). More information on transportation will be sent after registrations are received.

 

Incoming Kindergarten and First Grade camps at each K-4 school (Current and Incoming Kindergarteners)

Monday through Thursday 9:00a - 11:00a

July 31 - August 3

No Transportation

 

Math "Boost" Camps (targeting students who have learning gaps based on their i-Ready data)

Exiting 6th Graders to prepare for 7th grade math

July 10 - 20 at Cooper Upper Elementary

Transportation provided if you reside within the Franklin Triad

Exiting 8th graders to prepare for Algebra 1

July 24-August 3 at Randolph Elementary

Transportation provided if you reside within the Churchill Triad
