Webster ACT 18 Face to Face Return Letter

Dear ACT 18 Families,

We are excited that the Livonia Public Schools Board of Education has voted that all students can return to a full school day starting Monday, October 12.  The new school hours for our Webster ACT 18 students will be 8:00-1:45 with opportunities for asynchronous learning in the afternoon.

In order to prepare our students for this full day, we will be re-introducing students to a full school day the week of October 5.

Here is our schedule to move from our current two hour schedule to a full day:

  • Friday, October 2:
    • Remote Learning Only: no students attending school on this day.
  • Monday, October 5:
    • Belczak & Richards K-3 grade students in session full day (8:00 - 1:45).
    • Anglin & Commyn 4th grade students in session full day (8:00 - 1:45).
  • Tuesday, October 6:
    • Belczak & Richards K-3 grade students in session full day (8:00 - 1:45).
    • Anglin & Commyn 4th grade students in session full day (8:00 - 1:45).
  • Wednesday, October 7:
    • Richards & Daoust 4-5 grade students in session full day (8:00 - 1:45).
    • Anglin & Commyn 3, 5, 6  grade students in session full day (8:00 - 1:45).
  • Thursday, October 8:
    • Richards & Daoust 4-5 grade students in session full day (8:00 - 1:45).
    • Anglin & Commyn 3, 5, 6  grade students in session full day (8:00 - 1:45).
  • Friday, October 9:
    • All students in session full day (8:00 - 1:45).

Although the bus may arrive at your house each day, please only send your student on their designated days.  This will help us transition all students to their full school day, while practicing physical distancing and new safety procedures.

Please don’t hesitate to contact your child’s teacher or me if you have any questions or concerns. We can’t wait to see all of our students every day!

Respectfully,

Lora Boka

NOTE:

Webster ACT 18's new instructional hours are 8:00 am - 1:45 pm.  Students should be dropped off to Door 18 between 7:45 am and 8:00 am as part of a "slow roll" entry to the building.  Staff will be stationed at that door to receive students during that 15 minute time frame.  Beginning at 8:01 a.m., staff will return to classrooms to support students.  Tardy students must come in through the office doors.
