Mrs. Boka's Letter from 01/07/2021: Webster Return To Learn Part 2

Hello Webster Families,

Thank you for your patience during these times. As I am sure you have heard, all PreK-6th grade students & all PreK-Post Secondary special education local center & Act 18 programs students will return for in-person learning on Monday, January 11, 2021. Our Livonia Virtual students will continue with their established schedule. If you have decided to make a change in your child’s mode of learning (F2F to Virtual or Virtual to F2F) you should have already received a call from me. As a follow up to that you should expect to hear from your child’s teacher.

We couldn’t be any more excited to welcome our Wildcats back. Please see the attached documents to ensure a smooth transition.

We will continue to observe the following practices:

  • All adults and students remain masked on school grounds. The district will continue to share details of all expected mitigation measures that we will be following at all times.

  • Daily Covid Screener  before arrival at school

Unfortunately we still cannot have visitors in the building at this time.

A few helpful reminders:

  • All students start on Monday

    • ACAT students can be dropped off beginning at 7:25 with a start time of 7:40.

    • ACT 18 students can be dropped off beginning at 7:45 with a start time of 8:00.

    • All LV schedules remain the same.

  • Please send in weather appropriate gear as we will continue to go outdoors daily. Snow gear should be labeled and organized in a “gear bag” if you want it to go back and forth daily.

  • Have lunch and school supplies/materials ready. Teachers will communicate if they want Chromebooks to travel back and forth.

  • Dismissal for ACAT is 1:25 p.m. and ACT 18 is 1:45. Please be prompt in picking up your child daily.

Be sure to review our Webster Drop off and Pick Up Procedures  and be ready to follow them. Dust off those car tags and put them back in your windows. I will be passing out car tags to new families upon your arrival Monday morning.

I’ve included the January Lunch Menu  and will share other important information if necessary. It is important to pay attention to distict communications as they have the most updated information.

Don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions. We can't wait to move to round two of Face to Face learning with our Wildcats!

Best,

Lora Boka
