Roosevelt Elementary School Week of October 6 2019
Posted by WILLIAM GREEN on 10/7/2019
Good evening Roosevelt Families,
There are a few new additions to this weekend's email. Please find information about the Book Fair, Goodfellows Canned Food Drive, and the upcoming PTA Halloween Happenings flier.
In a few weeks, you will have an opportunity to meet with your child's teacher at Parent-Teacher conferences. Have you signed up yet? See below for information on that process.
Due to your help with the PTA Color Run, our PTA is in good financial shape for this year. Did you know that at each PTA meeting the budget is reviewed and you can see how PTA funds are allocated? We appreciate the Roosevelt PTA and our Roosevelt community.
BOOK FAIR INFORMATION
Greetings from the library! I'm excited to announce our upcoming Scholastic Book Fair. The Book Fair will take place in the library and will run from Friday, October 11 through Friday, October 18, 2019. The Fair will be open during conferences, including Wednesday and Thursday evening until 8:00 pm. Students may shop the Book Fair during second recess on Monday, October 12 and Tuesday, October 13. Here is more exciting news: Scholastic has created a Book Fair eWallet. This is a digital payment method for students to use when shopping at the Book Fair. The Book Fair eWallet is a safe and convenient digital payment option for your student to shop the Book Fair cash-free. Parents create a free account for their students and set a spending limit. Students use their eWallet to shop for the in-school Book Fair. To set up an eWallet for your student, go to our Roosevelt Scholastic Book Fair link at:
